Yesterday at the annual Southern California Sports Broadcasters luncheon, Bob Miller and Jim Fox of the Los Angeles Kings took home awards.

For the seventh time, Miller won the sports TV play-by-play award as he beat out fellow nominees Ralph Lawler of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and the legendary Vin Scully of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers.

As for Fox, he won the sports TV color analyst award for a third-straight year. Stu Lantz of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Petros Papadakis of college football were also nominated for the award.

In addition to his award, Fox was recognized as the top game analyst in the Los Angeles area by Tom Hoffarth, media columnist of L.A. Daily News.

Congratulations to both Bob Miller and Jim Fox on their achievements. They are much-deserved.
