After opening the tournament with a convincing 7-1 win on the 26th, Team Canada couldn't get anything going since - and with that, they have been officially eliminated from the Spengler Cup tournament.

After being blown out by host Davos 8-1 on Wednesday, Canada had to play a quarter-final matchup in order to advance.

Playing EHC Wolfsburg yesterday, Canada just didn't have enough as they fell 3-2 in the shootout. So, as a result, Canada, coached by former Los Angeles Kings head coach Marc Crawford, is gone.

Former King Jamie Lundmark, on the other hand, will be participating in the tournament's semi-final as they will play EHC Wolfsburg this afternoon.
