He has been given such a difficult at more points than I care to remember over the last number of seasons. Even I admit that I was one of his critics. He may have suffered a career-low in offensive production this past regular season in addition to appear missing in action when his team went through their mid-season scoring woes, but Dustin Brown continually proves that he is not only worth of being a Los Angeles King but of being the team's captain.

During Monday's Stanley Cup rally, Dustin Brown approached the mike and everyone listened.

After thanking team owners Philip and Nancy Anschutz in addition to the countless Kings fans as well as the importance of the families of the players during the postseason, Brown proceeded to tell a wonderful story.

But instead of me describing it in a novel, watch for yourself what the captain had to say. You will be very impressed.

Enjoy!
