Looking outside of training camp momentarily, Marc Crawford, who is the former head coach of the Los Angeles Kings has been hired to join the NHL on TSN panel and will make his debut alongside host James Duthie, analyst Bob McKenzie and former player Aaron Ward tomorrow night when the Ottawa Senators play the Boston Bruins.

After two seasons as the bench boss in Dallas, Crawford was fired by the Stars at thend of last season after just narrowingly missing the playoffs on the final day of the regular seasons. After two season where Dallas failed to make the playoffs, the ax fell on Crawford.

In Los Angeles, Crawford was the head coach for two lackluster seasons where the Kings failed to make the playoffs for either of the two seasons with Crawford at the helm.

With the NHL on TSN, Crawford joins a star-studded (if you will lineup that includes former player Jamie McLennan, Mike Peca, Jeremy Roenick as well as former coaches/player Peter Laviolette, Mike Milbury and Darren Pang just to name a few.

Although his stint in LA wasn't a hit, I wish Marc Crawford all the success in his new field.
