Previewing the Los Angeles Kings' 2011-12 season:

Game 3 @ New Jersey

October 13, 2011

4pm PST (7pm EST)

Although the Los Angeles already played two games thus far this regular season, tonight will be their first game of 2011-12 in North America as they will be in Newark tonight taking on Zach Parise and the New Jersey Devils. This will be the first of two meetings this month between the two clubs.

As far as lineups go, there won't be too many changes for the Kings. Los Angeles' top line of Kopitar, Gagne and Williams will remain in tact, although Dustin Penner is ready to go and will be making his debut this season tonight. As a result, Scott Parse will be a healthy scratch along with tough guy Kevin Westgarth. Head coach Terry Murray also announced that he will go with a fourth line consisting of Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis and Ethan Moreau.

In goal, Jonathan Quick will be back in net as he looks to get his team back on the winning track. On the blueline, barring any last-minute decisions, don't look for their to be any changes.

Head coach Terry Murray expressed his pleasure with how his team has looked since returning to North America so let's hope the Kings can continue to look good as they look for a win to kick-off their return to their home continent.

Enjoy the game!
